Christie's - First contemporary design auction

This September Christie's will launch its first ever sale dedicated exclusively to works by international contemporary designers.

Offering collectors works by some of the most notable designers living and working today, the sale will include 30 lots with pieces by Marc Newson, Forret Myers, Zaha Hadid, Ron Arad, Maarten Baas, Shiro Kuramata, Ettore Sottsass and Harush Shlomo.

Among the highlights will be Zaha Hadid's black Aqua table, Shiro Kuramata's Cabinet de Curiosité and Tejo Remy's You Can't Lay Down Your Memory cabinet.
